So my new toys came in today and I am so happy!!!!
First thing i notice is the clarity..these sound so clear at all volumes!
so i hooked them both up in my garage with the door open facing out and just as i was about to test them my neighbor pulled up who is a classical musician .
She said they sounded crisper and cleaner than any thing else she had ever heard
I decided to do two tests on them.
Test #1 one jbl on the left (see pic) and one tapco thump on the right
as i tuned up the volume right away the tapco started clipping the jbl never did
as i increased the volume i stepped in front of both speakers and the difference was night and day... now the thumps believe it or not sound pretty damn good and most people wouldnt know the difference between good sound and great sound but i do.
Test #2 both JBL's and i wanted to see how far i could push them before they would distort.
So i cranked the mains on my board to 10 the gains on the Chanel to 10 and the gain on the back of each speaker to the 12 o'clock mark, then i proceeded to crank techno and hip hop songs, all i can say is WOW no distortion at full volume and only at the max point did the clipping light appear!
So in conclusion i would give the new JBL PRX 600 Series a 10 out 10!!!!
now i would love to have better speakers to compare them to but i gave you my honest opinion and for you guys i cranked them to my boards max with some hard music and i was impressed 100%

I should ad a few on here said they had so much base they wouldn't need subs.
Now although the sound and bottom is incredible you will need a sub or 2 if your going to do large parties
I would be very comfortable doing parties up to 200 with them without a sub
