Last night October 2nd was a busy night for YourVegasDjs.com 3 of our DJ's were out doing events and making memorable moments happen for our client.
Owner DJ Jake Klein enjoyed an interesting themed wedding.
"The Movie The Goonies" was their theme.
Jake was dressed as a pirate, and all the groomsman wore patches it was a great time had by all.
Our bride Suzanne is Filipino and Our Groom Dacus is African American, so the music was a great mix. Jake Klein truly enjoyed putting together a fun playlist for this fun loving Bride & groom.
As both Suzanne & Dacus are teachers here in Las Vegas it was extra fun for DJ Jake Klein who comes from a family of teachers.

Suzanne & Dacus were nice enough to give us a video testimonial at the end of their event.

YourVegasDJs new trailer

So we at YourVegasDJs.com are very proud of our new little toy....
This our new trailer it will get a nice logo wrapping in the next week or so...

Just big enough to carry a decent sound system and light show but small enough to fit in the garage sideways:)

We just aded new speakers to our allready incredible sound systems

So my new toys came in today and I am so happy!!!!

First thing i notice is the clarity..these sound so clear at all volumes!

so i hooked them both up in my garage with the door open facing out and just as i was about to test them my neighbor pulled up who is a classical musician .

She said they sounded crisper and cleaner than any thing else she had ever heard

I decided to do two tests on them.

Test #1 one jbl on the left (see pic) and one tapco thump on the right
as i tuned up the volume right away the tapco started clipping the jbl never did
as i increased the volume i stepped in front of both speakers and the difference was night and day... now the thumps believe it or not sound pretty damn good and most people wouldnt know the difference between good sound and great sound but i do.

Test #2 both JBL's and i wanted to see how far i could push them before they would distort.
So i cranked the mains on my board to 10 the gains on the Chanel to 10 and the gain on the back of each speaker to the 12 o'clock mark, then i proceeded to crank techno and hip hop songs, all i can say is WOW no distortion at full volume and only at the max point did the clipping light appear!

So in conclusion i would give the new JBL PRX 600 Series a 10 out 10!!!!

now i would love to have better speakers to compare them to but i gave you my honest opinion and for you guys i cranked them to my boards max with some hard music and i was impressed 100%

I love em and i hope this helps anyone on the fence

I should ad a few on here said they had so much base they wouldn't need subs.
Now although the sound and bottom is incredible you will need a sub or 2 if your going to do large parties

I would be very comfortable doing parties up to 200 with them without a sub

Yesterday April 24th DJ Jake provided the music for the ceremony and entertainment for the wedding of Arlie & Lacee Danie'. The wedding was a complete success everybody had a great time.
