Last night October 2nd was a busy night for YourVegasDjs.com 3 of our DJ's were out doing events and making memorable moments happen for our client.
Owner DJ Jake Klein enjoyed an interesting themed wedding.
"The Movie The Goonies" was their theme.
Jake was dressed as a pirate, and all the groomsman wore patches it was a great time had by all.
Our bride Suzanne is Filipino and Our Groom Dacus is African American, so the music was a great mix. Jake Klein truly enjoyed putting together a fun playlist for this fun loving Bride & groom.
As both Suzanne & Dacus are teachers here in Las Vegas it was extra fun for DJ Jake Klein who comes from a family of teachers.

Suzanne & Dacus were nice enough to give us a video testimonial at the end of their event.

So my new toys came in today and I am so happy!!!!

First thing i notice is the clarity..these sound so clear at all volumes!

so i hooked them both up in my garage with the door open facing out and just as i was about to test them my neighbor pulled up who is a classical musician .

She said they sounded crisper and cleaner than any thing else she had ever heard

I decided to do two tests on them.

Test #1 one jbl on the left (see pic) and one tapco thump on the right
as i tuned up the volume right away the tapco started clipping the jbl never did
as i increased the volume i stepped in front of both speakers and the difference was night and day... now the thumps believe it or not sound pretty damn good and most people wouldnt know the difference between good sound and great sound but i do.

Test #2 both JBL's and i wanted to see how far i could push them before they would distort.
So i cranked the mains on my board to 10 the gains on the Chanel to 10 and the gain on the back of each speaker to the 12 o'clock mark, then i proceeded to crank techno and hip hop songs, all i can say is WOW no distortion at full volume and only at the max point did the clipping light appear!

So in conclusion i would give the new JBL PRX 600 Series a 10 out 10!!!!

now i would love to have better speakers to compare them to but i gave you my honest opinion and for you guys i cranked them to my boards max with some hard music and i was impressed 100%

I love em and i hope this helps anyone on the fence

I should ad a few on here said they had so much base they wouldn't need subs.
Now although the sound and bottom is incredible you will need a sub or 2 if your going to do large parties

I would be very comfortable doing parties up to 200 with them without a sub

Yesterday was a great day!
Las Vegas DJ Jake Klein was fortunate enough to have been chosen to DJ an incredibly fun wedding at MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Beautiful bride Mrs. Erika Richter was dressed in a black dress with a red sach around her waist and the Handsome groom Mr. Justin Richter was dressed in a black suit with red flower.
There was great food, Dancing, And even a fun wedding game call Roman hands, Russian fingers.
All events were carefully planned and coordinated by our own event specialist DJ Jake Klein.

Why should you hire our team?
Being in the business for over 19 years with some of the most successful long running karaoke shows we have learned the following things:
1. We are hired to fill a void: Whether it’s a weekday or weekend night we are hired to bring clients to your establishment for, not only the nights we work there, but also to return on other nights when you may be having other events.

2. We are hired to make YOU money: We understand our role as entertainers in your establishment. We are there to bring up two things:
A. Your bar ring- how much alcohol you sell per event.
B. Your gaming revenue- how much new clientele we can bring to you to gamble, not only on our nights, but to return on other nights as well.

3. We understand: If you are not making money we will be replaced. It is our job to make sure we are fulfilling our obligation to help make you money; this means we spend our personal time to promote “in addition to your promotion” our shows. We have found that our rings should be double if not triple what you are paying us for each night. This does not include gaming. This is in drink sales.

4. As for gaming, we understand how important a revenue that is for a bar so: We make sure our speaker placement is not blaring out your gamblers. We also make sure to include your gamers in any nightly giveaways that we are asked to promote. For those who just want to be left alone, we make sure that is always the case. We treat your VIP’s like our VIP’s!

What do we do differently?

1. We use only state of the art equipment: This means all of our equipment is high end commercial level and has been purchased this year, as we purchase and update new equipment once a year. Also, our setups are clean and neat -- no ugly equipment or wires hanging around!
2. We provide the largest library in Vegas: This means we have a karaoke song database of over 200,000 songs.
3. All of our music is legal: We have spent over $175,000 dollars on legally purchasing music for over 19 years. What this means to you is that your bar cannot and will not be fined by KAPA (http://www.karaokeantipiracyagency.com/piracy.html). Also all of our music is computerized for easy access and a non stop flow of singers.
4. We can’t stand dead air or dead shows: With some of the best experienced team members as not only KJ’s but also as successful club and party DJ’s, we can guarantee people will not complain about a Boring Show. We do this by not only running an exciting upbeat show, but also by taking dance breaks where our KJ’s get out in the audience and get people up dancing. It’s like having two shows in one!
5. Sound & Lights: Our systems are geared toward high quality sound as our KJ’s have a vast knowledge of how to work our soundboards: this mean you will not hear a singer bellowing out an ear piercing song -- rather each voice is carefully adjusted to sound in perfect unison for a clear and precise sound.
6. Video & Interaction: Not only do we provide a 19 inch LCD monitor for the singers to read the lyrics from, but we also bring with us a projector and 8’ screen for our audience to enjoy as well. We provide music video mixing as well as next singer notifications on our projector screen.
In addition we have 2 great features that no other company provides:
A. We can type and display any drink specials or upcoming events on our screen before and during our shows, at no additional cost to the client
B. We show singers live on our projected screen while they are singing so even if your way in the back you can see who’s on stage and what they’re singing!

7. Fair and Just rotations: This means we do not play favorites. Your customers will not complain about our rotation of singers. Everyone gets a chance to sing. No exceptions! Although you as management will always have the final say on any “friends” you may want to “bump” up, other than that we do not play favorites! We also make sure that two songs are chosen for each singer so that there are not more than 2 slow songs at any time.
8. LED “green friendly” Light Show: We bring in a spectacular led light show to light up the dance floor but not blind anyone in the audience or the rest of your establishment!

What an incredible week for Simly The Best and EVENT SPECIALIST DJ Jake.
I spent 3 days at the Mobile Beat DJ Expo in Las Vegas and learned alot from some of the most affluent and intelligent people in the DJ industry.

Found myself involved in a lot of think tank sessions in the hallways and was lucky enough to meet up with old friends and make lots of new ones.

There were speeches on conduct and statistics, then the dancing began and boy did they dance:)
All in all it was a fun time at 11:00 the new Ms. Cougar Las Vegas was crowned and given a free cruise.
The event was covered by several news stations Fox five news as well as Univsion and 2 french stations.

Jake Klein took his Las Vegas based DJ service to the wonderful city of San Jose California.

We were hired to provide our famous recording booth and Karaoke show for a private event through a great San Fransisco entertainment Company called http://www.associatedentertainment.com/aec/.

We were subcontracted locally from an incredible event rental company called http://www.eventmallusa.com/.

The event was located at a really nice Bar/Bistro/club with a fantastic staff especially the manager who was a big help to us! http://www.loftbarandbistro.com/.

Just returned home from a really fun wedding for Matt & Jennifer Rosa at Canyon Gate country club

We provided 2 sound systems, one for the ceremony and one for the main room.

Matt & Jennifer chose 2 fun events to add to their wedding one was the "Shoe Game" and one was the anniversary "elimination" dance to give away her... Bouquet.

Everything was almost as beautiful as Jennifer.
